Sweet Sugar Nellie Postbox

Sweet Sugar Nellie Postbox is the lucky chosen stamp to get played with today. Entering in the Sugar Bowl Challenge ~~ sketch as follows and my favorite color. See if you can figure it out :-) Hee hee!!!
I rotated the sketch :)  The dp is DCWV and the matting is SU cardstock of various blue colors.  I had so much fun coloring this image~~loads of color and sparkle.  Used CB embossing folders on dp and on the one behind nellie~~ I darken raised areas by swiping with blue ink pad~~turned out very nice but hard to see~~check the edges.

Below are close ups of Sweet Nellie. If you look close you will see I added dimension to her letter and envelope.  Embellies include a little heart sticker on mailbox, rhinestone flowers on select flowers in flower garden and stardust stickles on bottom edge of her blouse and on baby butterflies :D

Dimensional View
If you guessed my favorite color to be BLUE~~ You are correct :D

Paper:  DCWV dp and SU cardstock

Star of Bethlehem

Hello~ Well I did it~~yesterday I finished the 3rd gift/money card holder for our youngest daughter--Alissa! I won this Star of Bethlehem stamp from the Belles 'n Whistles Advent Giveaway~~YEAH!!!!~~~THANK YOU SUMMER AND ELISABETH BELL~~~~
We celebrated our Family Christmas last night (the 6 of us) Truly a blessing to Me--Thank You Lord!
Entering in: Stamp Something~~ Holiday Something by Dec 31
Flutterby Wednesday~~Angel ( I think I have a little angel here) Dec 30
365 Cards~~Keep it to Yourself
CRAFT challenge~~ Thank you ( my cards says with love instead of thank you) Jan 6
Well onto Alissa's card--This stamp so reminds me of her years gone by--she was quite shy and of course the baby :) Used White cardstock and colored image with copics. Used CB winter house folder on DCWV glitter white DP (very sparkly but doesn't really show on picture) Added twinklets over the ground which gave it a soft carpet appearance :-) Placed a rhinestone brad in center of star. Sentiment was a rub on. I dangled a snowflake charm from the Creative Impressions shimmery layered snowflake which I fastened with a beautiful brad from recollections.

Close ups of image. Used foam tape and glue dot pop ups for dimension.

I used a versa mark pen on the darker areas of both gowns and sprinkled with hallographic glitter~~~turned out very nice!!
The finished inside: The design here is from an old thank you note I received in the past. The soft colors and flowers blended so well with the colored image. I added a MS border punched from the sparkly white DP I used on the front of the card. Then stamped tiny snowflakes using Baby blue versa ink. Can kinda see the sparkly dp in this view. Border punched with MS large deep flower bed punch. Wrote a sweet note to Alissa on the scalloped circular insert and of course added the gift of $$$.

Recipe:
Stamps: Elisabeth Bell Star of Bethlehem Paper: DCWV Ink : Memento tuxedo black, copics, Baby blue versa color and versa mark pen Tools: CB winter house folder, MS punches and spellbinders scalloped circle
Embellishments: snowflakes, brads, hallographic glitter and a snowflake charm

Just Magnolia:  Make a card for someone special! I used Magnolia Snowy circle on ornament!!

Today I chose to do an Easel Card. Wow it really was fun and easy! This is the front or top of the card which I used the sketch from MMSC31
Close up of images: Christmas Belle from Digital Doodling and Christmas Mouse from PB Holly Jolly Collection. Colored both with copics and used pearly sparkle jelly glitter on Belle's muff and coat as well as mouse's hat. Crystal lace stickles used on Belle's skates and X-mas red and green stickles used on holly in her hair and the present mouse is offering her. Added stardust stickles to outline image :-) Secured with ribbon. Mouse is popped up with foam tape for dimension and if you look close at font view you can actually see his shadow when I took picture.
Below is a full view of my easel card and the ornament I made to go with the card that I will be giving to a friend for christmas! The ornament is a piece of round chipboard covered with Archiver's cardstock in green and Layered with a stamped image of Magnolia's Snowy Circle glistened with stardust and crystal stickles.  You can barely see it but I dobbered Soft blue ink onto the white snowy circle also.  Belle is slightly smaller in size than on the card but colored and jazzed up the same way :)  Belle is popped up with foam tape.  Threaded the ornament with the same ribbon I used on the card and secured with a metal snowflake slide!!

Below is the bottom or inside view of card.  BG Eskimo Kisses dp used again (reverse side).  Sentiment punched with SU sizzlets tag and popped up with foam tape for dimension and secured with ribbon.  Added the holly leaf border on bottom as finished follow through :D
Side view of my very first easel card!!!! Very satisfied with results :-)

GOD BLESS
